When you think "JOY" ride, you tend to think about the sun shining, roof top down, wind blowing in your face kinda ride. But when weather gets bad, there is no joy in it at all. It's our mission at Grade A Driving Academy to provide not only the best drivers education in the South Jersey area, but to offer the best free advice to those in the world who seek it.

Today were talking about driving in bad weather. Some useful tips and advice that one day might come in handy. Thanks for taking the time to help make our roads a safer place to drive.

Number one, make sure you have your lights on. Now a days, cars come standard with sensors that will put lights on for you. Oh aren't we lucky.

Slow down a bit....take your time. Safety should be first and foremost in the front of your mind. i know sometimes we can get into a rush, think about the things you have in your life, and the people you love. Slow baby, slow.

Use caution when you come to an intersection. Don't assume, just because you have the green light, it's safe to breeze on through. Look both ways and take it easy on the gas.

Don't ride on the person in front of you. Give yourself more than your used to. Being able to stop quickly is not as easy when the roads are bad.

Make sure to carry an ice scraper if you live in the colder parts of the country. keep your wipers in good condition and make sure to have the wiper fluid checked and filled.

If you ever feel that you are beginning to hydroplane, let of the gas and don't try to steer. Wait until you feel the tires re-grip the road.

Hope you all stay safe on the road. I'm Tony Giannini with Grade A Driving Academy in Stratford, South Jersey
